Caught Seven Pounds with Gerard yesterday. Damn good show.
I read this review that really expresses how I feel about the show.

"Seven Pounds" stars Will Smith as a guy who, for his own reasons, sets out to change the lives of seven people who fit a criteria that he has formulated.

I went into this movie not really knowing what it was about and it probably added to my overall enjoyment. It's one of those movies where the less you know is a good thing. You will probably spend a large part of the movie wondering what is happening and why it is happening and that's not a bad thing. It doesn't take that long to figure out the basic premise but the method to the madness is definitely confusing at times.

Anyone who tells you they were able to figure out "Seven Pounds" at the beginning of the movie is lying. It has some twists and turns that are sure to surprise even the most seasoned movie-goer.

It's a movie about fate, about respectable people who deserve a break in life and about someone who is willing to help these people get that break. It is a movie that is sure to touch your soul. It may bring a tear to your eye but at the same time put a smile on your face.

So as you can gather, I didn't know nuts about what the film was about when we entered the theatre. Why did I decide to catch the movie then? Because WILL SMITH WAS THE LEAD! He is damn good, I swear. From Hancock to The pursuit of Happiness to Sharktale to Hitch to I am Legend, he has been great. SO versatile la!

Did you know that he turned down the role as Neo in the Matrix!?!?!?!? OMGGGGGG. &&& He also turned down the role of Mr Smith in Mr & Mrs Smith?! He was also considered for the role of Charlie in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. *Faints*

Told you he's good! :D
