WOW. It's officially the last day of 2008. Looking back, this year has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride for me. One hell of a ride indeed. I experienced change and so much emotions like I never did before. Take a ride down memory lane with me if you want. (:
January
Work
Was still working in Marriott's banquet department. Seems like ages ago since I last worked there. It was my first official job & it was a tiring but wonderdul experience. I really don't regret working there.
February
Os results
Feb was also the month where I got my O level results. I still can remember the drama that broke out when my results were revealed even before I knew them. All is forgiven though. (: It was a pretty exciting time because Jacob & I were getting our results together. I didn't do very well for my Os but I quote my brother "All I can say is Idid my best and my results is a fair picture of the effort i put in." Jacob Well all I can say is i did my best and my results is a fair picture of the effort i put in." Jacob did wayyyy better then me but he failed his maths which left him with very little options. My family watched as he stressed over where to go & what to study.
March
Work
Had problems with the management so I had to leave Marriott. Was pretty broke for awhile. But after my birthday I got a job at St James.
School posting
I think it was in March that I got back my school posting. I got into RP, Sports & Leisure Management which was a surprise to everyone including myself. I hate most sports but my course sounded like there'd be a cute guys. ;) Jacob followed his dreams & got into Mass Comm @ MDIS.
Death
This was the hardest change in my life. I still remember every single detail of that day like it happened just yesterday. It was the 21st March, 3 days before my 18th birthday. It was that day that I made a decision to have a closer relationship with my dad. His death came as a shock to everyone. Imagine the pain you felt over the worse break up you ever had. Oh, but this was worse than a break up feeling. It was tough on my whole family. But my mum is an amazing woman. She prays for us every single day. Without her prayers I don't think that we would have dealed with my dad's passing on so smoothly.
My 18th (Part 1)
My dad got cremated on that day. What a way to spend a birthday eh? Met up with some of my close friends for a late dinner. Thank you Sherry for that.
April- May
School
Entered E36Q & made a bunch of great friends. I ended up having a blast in RP & I definitely do not regret being here.
My 18th (Part 2)
Gerard was wonderful. He had a surprise chalet for me & all my lovely friends were there. It was the best birthday ever though it was belated.
June- Nov
Alot had happened on between.
School
Had a change of class in Sem two & I was blessed wit a whole new set of classmates that I have come to love ALOT.
Work
Started work at Giraffe & it has been quite an experience. Been having fun except for the occasional days.
Friends
It was around this time that I felt like I was losing my friends. Everyone's so absorbed in their own lives that it's become so hard to meet up. And some of you, you know who you are, unless you are asked out, you don't bother asking people out. I love you bitches so much & this makes me sad ):

Christmas
It was a hard time for my family. It was the first xmas without my dad.My mum & I stayed in. Me in the room my mum in the hall, too absorbed in our own emotions. Jacob was out with his friends. Joined Gerard & the rest only late at night.
Today
So here we are.
Alot of things has happened & changed. This year that I turned 18 will be unforgetable. Bittersweet. I've lost a few friends along the way but I have grown closer to some.
I have been lucky to have Gerard, my bestfriend & boyf who I love so much. Casey my bitch who denies loving me but I know he does. ;) Iza my girl bestfriend who I will always love no matter how much I hate her sometimes. Through the sadness & the happy times. You lovelies are the first ones I would call.
And my girlfs- Clara, Yunhao, Colleen, Calyn, Nadiah, Sherry & the guys, Melvin & Guanwei.
I love you all much. I hope you know that <3
