FINALLY got the picture from Booncai. :D

Batam was pretty awesome. There were stoned moments but it was fun overall. It was the first time for all of us, going on an overseas trip solely with friends. So it was quite an experience. I'm just really glad to be back & to own a Singapore citizenship. Though I'd rather live in America or Australia or somewhere with hot angmoh guys. SO, what did I like about Batam? Well, we could all do as we pleased. We could smoke anywhere & EVERYWHERE- shopping centres, lifts, hotels, EVERYWHEREEEE, things there were pretty cheap & the roadside food was fucking good. What I didn't like? THE FUCKING TOILETS! I hated the toilets man. There is NO flushing system & NO toilet paper. Kns, literally. Another things I disliked is that the currency was confusing. Like one singapore dollar is don't know how many thousands there. Calyn was my walking calculator. <3

Took a 45 minute ferry ride to Batam. We sat on the upper deck & we stood at the sides. The wind was damn shiok. If you still don't know, I love the wind. LOVE.

Our first stop at Batam was some Buddhist temple. Calyn insisted on us rubbing Buddha's tummy & these gold thingys so that we would get rich.

Next stop: some makan place la. Complimentry with our tour package. Javier looks like he didn't enjoy the food. :/

All of us (except Booncai & Calyn) smoked til our lungs chaotahed. Okay, I didn't smoke that much. The ciggys there damn strong siol.

We also went to a Ralph Lauren shop where half of them shopped to their hearts content. They spent one hour at the friggin shop la. --''

We also went for full body massages- S$20. Very cheap. Worth the money la cos it wasn't that good. ): Was really looking forward to it.

Lastly the tour guide brought us to this shopping centre to shop & have dinner. We ended up splitting into two groups. My group went to some road side place like lau pa sat. The murtabak & satay was damn good. You will never know what you missed out on, Casey. :P

Guanwei: Wah, this satay damn good sia! Tastes like ToriQ. Uncle, this one chicken ah? Don't taste like chicken though.

Uncle: *Waves us off* Don't ask, just eat!

Told Mao about it & he said that they make rat meat satay in Batam. Erhhh....

The rest went to A&W to eat. Lewis damn tired as usual. Tsk. Napping after dinner.

We were all exhausted with shopping for all the beer, smokes, snacks & other shitz. We were so happy when we were finally going to check in.

Guanwei roomed with Booncai, Casey with Lewis, Cam with Javier, me with Calyn & Gerard was alone cos Fabian last minute couldn't come. ): So Gerard combined both beds to make a queen size bed. --''

Over in my room, I quickly claimed my part of the sink. The right side's mine with all my stuff. Since Calyn had nothing she took the tiny left side of the sink. HAHAHAHA.

Calyn was a bitch! She always made me wake up first & bathe cos she wanted to get extra shut eye. ^%$#@ The beds were damn shiok laaaaa.

Mostly slept & slacked the second afternoon away. Went swimming in the night.

Calyn made a new friend. Obviously missing Buddy back in Spore. Awww. She even fed the cat some orange ring potato chips.

Went to the hotel's club/bar to take a look. The stairs were cool. Very creepy.

There was this cool HUGE chair in the pub.

We didn't stick around long cos the place was empty & the music wasn't that good. I guess Gw & Calyn enjoyed it though. ;P

There was also this big xmas tree at the first floor of the hotel. OH YA! That reminds me that we saw Mr Mui & his family at the hotel!! Stunned X10000000. WORLD SO SMALL!

Cute, colourful animal thingys near the hotel entrance unleashed the camwhores in us.

After that we changed & headed down to the beach where the wind was wonderful & the stars were amazing. Sat around talking & catching up. Yea, thats me enjoying the wind.
