):
Jacq just sent sent me this lame ass shit picture to try to cheer me up. LOL.MOVING ON!
I decided to catch as much sleep as I can so I took the City Hall route to school instead of the usual Jurong East route. When I got on at Raffles' Place, the train was almost empty. (Picture above) Shiok. Hopefully it'll be this empty everyday. :D I am a a lucky girl! At least I will be next year. I really REALLY REALLY hope next years modules would be as wonderful as they sound. Here's the gist of it.
Health & Wellness: Students will understand the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout their lives. Topics covered included hygiene and skin care, youth health, STDs (can educate Yunhao, lol) & substance abuse, eating disorders & weight management.
Inclusive Physical Activity: The module aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and strategy to plan and deliver safe yet effective physical activity programs. Sounds pretty boring la this one.
Sociology of Sports & Leisure: Issues covered include attitude formations and change, persuasion, personal behaviour, gender participation, aggression and violence in sports, impact of media on modifying behaviour, and factors affecting participation in sports and physical activity.
Sports Business: Students will learn how sports businesses create value, and how they manage opportunities and threats in the global environment. Topics include business in: sports media, sports tourism, event sponsorship, and player endorsement.
Sports Management: This module will expose students to basic disciplinary knowledge in human resource management and marketing as deemed relevant to the management of sports and recreation clubs/programmes/events. Students will gain business management knowledge and skills to contextualize and relate acquired knowledge to current challenges in the Singapore sports arena.
Know what's the best part?
NO MATHS, SCIENCE & COMPUTING!
